Yoga is not about touching your toes. It is what you learn on the way down.

CLASS DESCRIPTIONS
Something for Everyone
All Classes are Suitable for All Levels
Come for the Strength, Stay for the Fun
A movement based class where we sync our breath with the asanas (yoga poses). Emphasis is placed on connecting with your core and finding the joy & fire within.

Commonly called a "flow" class, we will flow through the poses in a way that is both fun and energizing. Emphasis is placed on building a strong foundation and stabilizing the core as we progress though the sequences.

This practice is designed to be joint safe. Modifications are offered and students are strongly encouraged to adapt the poses to work with their body, rather than adapting their body to fit the pose.
Come for the Stretch, Stay for the Calm
A slower class with a focus on building balance & flexibility. Asanas (yoga poses) are built from the ground up with an emphasis on adjusting the pose to suit your individual body and ability.

This class is great if you are trying yoga out for the first time or getting back into it after a few years away from your practice.

We look to rekindle that connection to your body & spirit that you may have lost over the years through setting aside your own needs in order to take care of others. Building up your strength in body, mind, & spirit enables you to still take care of others without sacrificing yourself.

You deserve this!
July and August
Yoga in the Park! This community class is needed now more than ever. You will be able to find me Tuesday, Thursday, & Sunday at Riverdale Park. All classes start at 9:30am.
Leave the stuffy indoors behind and head outside for some fresh air, green grass, sunshine, and of course yoga! I would love it if you would all join me this summer for some gentle outdoor movement. Just enough to wake up the body, clear out the brain fog, and begin to feel a connection with nature.
This will be a "Pay what you can" class with a suggested amount of $10/class. I would really love to see you all there as a community regardless of the amount you can afford. Payments can be made via Cash, Email Transfer, or PayPal.

About Your Instructors
Robin
My Journey to Yoga
I have been a lover and practitioner of yoga for over 20 years and ultimately decided to embark on the journey to becoming an Instructor myself. Yoga for me is about so much more than just the asana (poses), it's a way of being, a way of living your life with purpose and intention. I’m known for my passion, unique approach, and inspirational instructing style that embodies physical, spiritual, and mental strength. Since I started teaching in 2018, I have had the pleasure of working with people from all walks of life to help them Strengthen the Body, Calm the Mind, & Nourish the Spirit.
Then came 2020 and all the uncertainty that it brought to the world. Who would have thought that in the midst of so much change something as wonderful as Ruby Red Yoga Studio could come into being? While it wasn't my intention to open my own studio at this point in my life, when the opportunity presented itself, I felt the pull to take that leap of faith and follow where the universe was leading me.
Enter 2022, the world is slowly returning to a sense of normal and I have once again been called in a new direction. I see a need in the world far greater than what can be addressed in a single physical yoga studio. I made the both difficult and yet easy decision to bring Ruby Red Yoga completely online. With Ruby Red Yoga operating as a Virtual Studio, I am able to serve more people from all over the world in the comfort of their own space.

Not to worry for those of you who love practicing with me in person, I will still be teaching Yoga in the Park each summer as well at various local community spaces.

I can't wait to see all of your beautiful faces both online and in person.
"Yoga is the journey of the self, through the self, to the self"
The Bhagavad Gita
The nature of yoga is to shine the light of awareness into the darkest corners of the body.
